Bradco Kitchens and Baths is a green friendly company. From the start, we have made it our mission to produce a cabinetry product which is completely formaldehyde free. Our president, Michael Kienzl was so inspired to create formaldehyde-free cabinetry that he is a member of the Formaldehyde-Free Coalition.
Materials
We offer a variety of options to our customers depending on how "green" they want to be. Whether its using commercial grade fast growing maple, formaldehyde free plywoods or FSC certified wood, we adapt to the customers needs. However, we firmly believe in protecting our employees as much as providing products to the customer's specification so we use formaldehyde-free adhesives in the construction of all of our cabinets.
Production
By focusing on efficiency and resource management, we are able to provide custom cabinetry with a low environmental impact.- Our manufacturing facility is located within 200 miles of our showroom so that less energy is used in transporting our cabinets
- Our products are hand crafted thus using less electricity and resources
- Reduce solid waste by recycling left over raw materials back into our products
- The low or no VOC finishes that are used emit fewer HAPS (Hazardous Air Pollutants) than are allowed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB)
Toxicity
We are proud to be one of the first cabinet manufacturers to adhere to strict emission standards. Our products emit less than 0.18 ppm (parts per million) formaldehyde emissions, which is the CARB required mandate.
